  • Ask an Arborist Booth
    • Michael Richardson, Skywalker Tree Care
Bring your tree questions to your best tree resource, a local arborist! All tree questions are welcome- a few examples…what is your right tree for your right place, should I water my tree and how much, what is wrong with my tree?
  • Learn to Tie Useful Knots Booth
    • John Gaddess, Kopion Arboriculture
Grab a rope and pull up a chair, this is bound to be fun! Learn some practical knots from someone who ties them every day, an arborist! Knots are useful in everyday applications like when camping, tying down your adventure gear on top of your vehicle, hanging up your hammock…You’ll be given a rope to take home with you to keep practicing your new skills.
  • Woodworking Booth
    • Vance Bergeson, Camp 8 Woodworks
We appreciate trees around us both in their living state and as practical and beautiful objects that have been handcrafted from their wood. Join a woodworking expert in action and learn a few simple techniques you can try your hand at in your own shop.
  • Create a Tree Ring Ink Print Booth
    • Nick Belfry, Ooh La La Arboriculture and Tyler Quintano, Sand Creek Tree Service
Tree ring ink prints are beautiful and easy to make, and who better to guide you through the project of making art from real local Sandpoint trees than a local arborist! Prints can be framed and enjoyed or given as a unique handmade gift. You can’t go wrong with this art project as the inspiration is all provided in the beauty found inside a tree.
