Stories in the Garden

Join us weekly on Mondays for Stories in the Garden. Local picture book authors & illustrators will read their books and lead us in a fun activity!

July 17 – Bill Borders will read his book, “A Horn Is Born” and will lead us in an invent a character activity.
July 24 – Pam Webb will read her book, “Someday We Will” and lead us in writing postcards.
July 31 – Bonnie Shields will read a book she has illustrated and will show us how to draw a horse.
August 7 – Paul Graves will read his book, “Sox Looks for Home”, activity TBD.
August 14 – Matt Lome will read his book, “The Absolute Truth about Woodpeckers”, activity TBD.
Aug 21 – Connie Scherr will read her book, “The Mermaid of Lake Cocolalla” and will lead us in a watercolor fish activity.

These events will take place in the garden unless it is too hot or smoky and then we will move into Karen’s Kids’ Room.
