May Day Celebration
Come to a May Day party in the Sandpoint Library Garden! May Day is a traditional celebration marking the halfway point between the spring equinox and the first day of summer. May 1 is also a day when people write wishes on strips of cloth or paper and hang them in a tree, hoping they will come true.
To honor various traditions of May day, we will gather together and celebrate the warmer days by making colorful ribbon rings, writing wishes on paper or cloth and having an ages dance party in the garden!
This event will be moved indoors to the Community Rooms if weather requires.
