Color Fun Run

Kick off the Library Summer Reading program “Color Our World” in style with a colorful, fun run around Travers Park! Start at the information booths and art experiences in front of the James E Russell Center entrance. The color run will begin at 10 am and wrap up by 11 am. The run/walk is .5 miles and can be done with strollers, walkers, or other mobility devices. There will be staged start times for the age brackets, though this is an untimed run.

Activities will be available for all ages and abilities, along with interactive art experiences! This event is all about community and is our kickoff event to Summer Reading at the Library and summer programs with the Library and the YMCA.

Due to our limited parking, we encourage you to carpool, or walk to the event if possible. The Litehouse YMCA parking lot is available for overflow parking. We kindly request that you leave your dogs and bikes at home for this event. Service animals are welcome.

Registration is free with a donation to the food bank.
