Book Adventures
A creative spin on the traditional book club with activities centered around a weekly theme that resonates with the book we are reading.
Book Adventures is weekly on Wednesdays and is for incoming 3rd graders and older.
About Book Adventures:
Suzanne will read her favorite park aloud. (5 min)
Answer trivia questions. (10 min)
Kids read their favorite parts. (15 min)
Participate in crafts or activities & enjoy a snack. (30 min)

June 26th: Dragon Adventures – The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui T. Sutherland
July 3rd: NO book club
July 10th: Going Wild – Pax by Sara Pennypacker
July 17th: Survive the Zombie Apocalypse – The Last Kids on Earth by Max Brallier
July 24th: Survival Skills with Boy Scout Troop 111 – My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George. (This one will be closer to 90 minutes)
July 31st: Mythic Adventures – Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin
The first meeting’s books will be available at the Summer Reading Launch Party on June 11th. Copies of the next week’s book will be available at the end of the current week’s club meeting.
The remaining copies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Supplies are limited.
