Scoliosis Screening and Community Education

Scoliosis Screening and Community Education
Wed. March 26
3:30-4:30PM

Community Room A

WHY SCOLIOSIS SCREENING IS IMPORTANT :

Many adolescents are missing the opportune moment to catch scoliosis between ages 10-14, as school screening is no longer mandated.  Since early detection is key to preventing curve progression, receiving proper treatment and (in some cases) preventing surgery, Dr. Jenni Someillan is excited to offer complimentary scoliosis screening as a community service to ages 8+ (under 18 must
have a parent consent on paper). Learn how to identify scoliosis, about evidence-based treatment available and have your questions answered by a specialist.

This is a community event and is not library-sponsored.
