Everything you need to know about checking materials out at The Library.
What kind of items do you have and how many can I check out?
You can have 20 items on your library card at any time. Each family member can have their own card.
Please note the following item type limits:
- 20 Books
- 10 DVDs
- 8 Spoken Word
- 8 Music CDs
- 8 Playaways
- 8 Magazines
- 2 Video games
- 1 STEM kit or Literacy kit
- 1 Wonderbook
- 1 Wifi hotspot (per family)
How long can I keep them?
Wifi hotspots check out for 1 week.
DVD’s and Video Games check out for 2 weeks.
Everything else checks out for 3 weeks!
Items automatically renew up to 3 times if no one is waiting!*
DVDs, Hotspots and Video Games renew for 1 week.
Everything else renews for 3 weeks.
*Hotspots can only be renewed 1 time. Kits cannot be renewed.
Fines and Fees
We are an (almost) fine free library! No fees will be applied for late items except for Wifi Hotspots. While we are mostly fine free, any overdue items will prevent you from borrowing digital content and items more than 7 days overdue will prevent you from checking out materials.
Lost and Damaged Materials
Replacement fees for lost or damaged items still apply.

- Audiobooks, comics & ebooks: 21 days
- Movies & TV: 3 days
- Music: 7 days
You can download eBooks and eAudiobooks with OverDrive in your browser or the Libby app.
Borrowing Limit: 8 titles at a time (excluding magazines)
Holds Limit: 6 titles on hold at a time
- eBooks: up to 21 days
- eAudiobooks: up to 14 days

Place a Hold
Did you know that you can also go online and put up to 10 items on hold so you can be next in line?
Log in to your Library Account, search for the item you want and click “Place a Hold.” You’ll be notified by email or text when your items are ready for pick-up.
