The Friends of the Library (FOL) serve to assist and support the full range of library functions. The Friends are instrumental in raising funds for the Library, providing assistance in the Library when special help is needed and conducting outreach and educational programs. The FOL is a non-profit, non-partisan organization.
Used Book Sales
The FOL’s primary fundraiser and service to the community is the monthly used book sale. Sales from the used books and other items including CDs, movies, music and magazines, are held on the first Saturday of every month in the Sandpoint library lobby from 10 AM – 2 PM.
The Friends of the Library invite you to the monthly meeting at noon the first Thursday of every month (except July and August.) All meetings take place in the meeting rooms of the Sandpoint Library. The general meeting consists of a brief business meeting which is usually followed by a program of interest to the community. All are welcome to attend. Please join us!

Becoming a Member
The FOL welcomes new members at any time. Members of the FOL are encouraged to donate time and energy for any library events and also welcome new members who wish to offer financial support only.
