USDA: EQIP Presentation

Environmental Quality Incentives Program

Come to the Clark Fork Library to learn about EQIP and other conservation programs that helps farmers, ranchers and forest landowners integrate conservation into working lands. EQIP provides technical and financial assistance to address natural resource concerns and deliver environmental benefits such as:

  • Improved water and air quality
  • Conserved ground and surface water
  • Increased soil health and reduced soil erosion and sedimentation
  • Improved or created wildlife habitat mitigation against drought and increasing weather volatility

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service offers voluntary Farm Bill programs that benefit both agricultural producers and the environment.

The event is finished.
