Natural Connections

Join us for a day of natural connections and take a taste of the garden home with you. In addition to the schedule, Anna Hebard, our Garden Coordinator will be available to show the exciting new garden features. From tasty berries, medicinal plants, and vegetable staples to critical habitat creation and pollinator nirvana, come explore the garden. The Library Garden is for the community, so light human grazing is encouraged.
Stay for the full event or stop in for portions that interest you. The event will go on, rain or shine!
Juice by The Peppered Mercantile will be free to the first 25 attendees.

1:00 PM – EMPOWER YOUR HEALTH JOURNEY
Identity Architect Henry Clemmons will share 5 tools to help people transform their lives. He offers a process for becoming your ideal version of yourself through personal identity transformation. “Losing weight, eating healthier, these are not sustainable goals unless we become the person who identifies as “active” or “healthy”. We cannot sustain a diet on will-power alone, because life is always lurking in the shadows and waiting to pounce on us.” Henry provides every piece of the puzzle that people need in order to walk the path of becoming. Are you ready? Are you tired of being tired, of feeling heavy, or of being embarrassed? If you are ready, this may just be what you are looking for. Reawaken to possibilities and purpose and return to a state of vitality.
Herbs & Folk Style Tincture Making—Laura Clemmons is a functional clinical herbalist who will share knowledge regarding herbs and teach participants how to make a folk style tincture to take home. Medicine-making guidelines and all supplies will be provided. She will also offer “surprise” herb teas/cooling beverages for folks to try. (And if you ask, she likely will share the recipes for those as well.)
