Art Time: Duck Stamp Design
The Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge is offering a Duck Stamp Art Contest to K-12th graders. We are supporting this contest by having a Design a Duck Art Time ! We will supply paper, colored pencils, paints, markers, and other supplies, as well as info on various waterfowl.
The purpose of this program is to teach conservation through the arts; students are invited to explore the natural world and learn more about waterfowl identification and wetland habitat by creating their very own art depicting a duck, goose, or swan.
Join staff artist, Bethany, to learn more about the competition and create your own duck artwork.
