Known internationally for his retreats, workshops and facilitated ceremonies, Transpersonal Psychotherapist and traditionally trained Amazonian Shaman Carlos Hernandez discusses his work, his training and some exciting stories from his incredible journey.

Abour Carlos Hernandez:

Carlos is a world-renowned Transpersonal Psychologist, Somatic Breathwork Master and Amazonian Shaman. He spent 20 years in the jungles of Peru studying and becoming ordained in a traditional lineage. Before that, he studied for years with the Wixarika Marakames in his homeland of Nayarit, Mexico. He has been in practice for more than 15 years as a highly-skilled Transpersonal Psychotherapist. Carlos has also been a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator for 18 years, and trained directly with Stan Grof, the revolutionary developer of this method.

In his words, “ I work in a truly integrative manner incorporating aspects of Transpersonal and Somatic Psychotherapy, Integrative Psychiatry, Holotropic Breathwork, Ritual, and Amazonian Shamanism.”
