Why get a library card?

View our Borrowing Guide or Kids’ Borrowing Guide to learn about what you can do with your library card.

Your library card is FREE when you:

  • Agree to abide by the code of conduct.
  • Assume responsibility for all materials checked out and to pay any fees incurred through use.
  • Bring photo identification and proof of residency within the East Bonner County Library District.

Under 18?

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to get a library card.

Not a resident of this library district?

No problem! You can qualify for a limited-access account at no charge, you just need to bring in your ID. With the universal, limited-access card, you can check out library materials and use the computers, you just won’t have access to our online resources in the Digital Library.

A full access card to include all digital services can be purchased for $10/month.
