CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE

MAY 2017:  Expansion plans and construction bids

JUNE 2017: Planning and scheduling project. Construction bid awarded to Northcon Inc. 

JULY 2017: Breaking ground: mobilization of site work

AUGUST - OCTOBER 2017: New structural work on expansion

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2017: Cedar Street access improvements

SEPTEMBER - NOVEMBER 2017: Site hardscape improvements

SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2017: Building exterior and roofing

OCTOBER 2017: select interior demolition for remodel

OCTOBER 2017 - MARCH 2018: 1st floor interior build-out 

NOVEMBER 2017 -  MARCH 2018: 2nd floor interior build-out

FEBRUARY 2018: Library closed for approximately 2 weeks for fire suppression system installation

FEBRUARY 2018 - MARCH 2018: testing, inspections, and completion

The $2.7 million project is funded by proceeds from the sale of the former library building, grants, and private contributions including a $100,000 from the estate of library patron, Mary Zindler.
