Read with us this winter - Adults too!

We are participating in a national winter reading challenge! Sign-up today and log your reading until  March 1st!

Our Children's Department goal is to read for 30,000 minutes (or 500 hours). The Library is offering some fun prizes along the way for kids and preschoolers including ice cream cones, free books, and your choice of prizes from the prize bin! Monthly prize drawings will be in January and February with final drawing at the End of Winter Reading Party at the Sandpoint Branch on March 6th! (Psst. Grand prizes include Lego labs!)

Our Teen goal is for each teen to read a least 10 hours. Teens, when you participate, you'll be entered into monthly prize drawings. Log your reading hours to win great prizes!

We finally have a reading challenge for you too! For each book you log, you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 grocery card! No other steps necessary!

How do you log your reading?

To log reading online, create individual reader accounts or family accounts on Beanstack to log your reading.
And if you already have an account from summer reading, just sign back in, enroll in the Winter Reading Program and start logging!

Oh, yeah - there's also an app for that available in the App Store and on Google Play.

Library activities

While we have no activities specifically for winter reading participants, other than the Kids' Final Party on March 6th, we are offering lots of fun programs for all ages this winter! Find dates and times on our events calendar.
